event.coffee was conceptualized from event management feature brainstorming for TourneyBox, a product for running competitions and competitive events from the same company behind event.coffee, TourneyBit. event.coffee was spun off as a separate product with the foundational technology of TourneyBox.
event.coffee is my way of hopefully helping others outside of my company's more niche products. I don't think independent creators, nonprofits, small businesses, or their audiences should have to pay service fees on each ticket they sell. While payment transaction fees are unavoidable, ticket service fees are. I tried to make this product as accessible and usable as possible with all the essential features for running a ticketed event.
